Graduate Women in Science (GWIS) is pleased to announce the 2025 Empower Conference, which will be held in-person on February 15th, 2025 from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST at The Huck Institute of the Life Sciences. This conference is open to everyone, including high school students, undergraduate and graduate students, postdocs, faculty, staff, and other community members.

Empower (formerly known as Voices) is an annual networking and professional development conference for people working in or interested in STEM fields, and this year our theme is Together Towards Tomorrow – featuring speakers who promote collaboration to address important problems and advance STEM research. Our keynote speaker is Dr. Moiya McTier, an astrophysicist, folklorist, and science communicator, who's mission is to help people understand the world around us better through science.
