Penn State University Park Allocation Committee
Their Mission:
"The University Park Allocation Committee (UPAC), founded in 1996, consists of undergraduate and graduate students who share a common goal to enhance the student experience at University Park, and who dedicate their efforts towards judiciously allocating a portion of the student-initiated fee to recognized student organizations on campus. We aim to facilitate a welcoming environment that highlights the diverse background of our student body and embraces the many ideas and beliefs that shape the educational opportunities our University has to offer."
The Graduate and Professional Student Association (GPSA)
Their Mission:
"Penn State’s Graduate Student Association formally passed its constitution on October 1, 1951. Over the years, the GSA took the lead on numerous issues affecting graduate students, has aided in shaping the way Penn State is today, and continues to play a vital role in University life. On July 1st, 2014, the GSA officially became the Graduate and Professional Student Association to reflect its representation of all non-undergraduate students at Penn State. Today, the GPSA stands as the oldest continuously existing student governing organization at Penn State."

Intersectional. Inclusive. Intergenerational. Empowering.
"Though we are nonpartisan, we are not values-neutral: We fight to remove the barriers and biases that stand in the way of gender equity. We train women to negotiate for pay and benefits and to pursue leadership roles. And we advocate for federal, state, and local laws and policies to ensure equity and end discrimination."
NASA PA Space Grant Consortium
Information:
"The PSGC sponsors activities and designs programming to support the mission of the National Space Grant College and Fellowship Program. The primary mission of the PSGC is to develop, support and deliver space-related STEM education and research programs. The various programs at the lead institution and at the Affiliate institutions are designed to have substantial relevance to the goals and needs of the NASA Mission Directorates and to suit the individual strengths of these institutions. PSGC programming aligns with educational and economic priorities of Pennsylvania and emphasizes support for authentic, hands-on NASA-related STEM research experiences for undergraduate and graduate students. Evidence-based practices, diversity and inclusion, and scalability through partnerships and networks are important considerations for PSGC programming as we strive to engage, recruit, and train diverse students for STEM space-related workforce development. To this end, the PSGC funds graduate fellowships, internships, and ongoing higher education programs around the state. Additionally, the PSGC supports innovative ideas related to authentic, hands-on student experiences through a statewide mini-grant program. To support STEM engagement, the PSGC also funds competitively awarded pre-college mini-grants for professional development of in-service Pennsylvanian STEM educators, as well as pre-college mini-grants to facilitate public STEM engagement at outreach events around Pennsylvania."
